Hey guys, I'm a Junior in college doing a Human Biology major and was wondering what my realistic chances are of getting in to dental school. I have yet to take the DAT which I'm doing after I take organic chem 2 in the summer. Also I have a stuttering problem which I filed as a disability at my school. It is not severe and I can talk normally without any blocks usually but I was wondering would it affect my application negatively if I put i have a stuttering problem or should I just not put it on my application? Here are my stats. Also I am on the fencing team in my school, part of many clubs, and have many volunteer hours in multiple dental offices.
Gen Chem 1: B+
Gen Chem 2: C
Gen Chem lab: A
Gen Bio 1: C
Gen Bio 2: In progress
Orgo 1: In progress
Orgo 1 lab: In progress but will most likely get an A
Orgo 2 and lab: Will take over summer
Physics 1 and 2: Will take Fall of my senior year. Calculus: W( applying to schools that don't necessarily need it but if I do I'll just take it in the summer if I get accepted to a particular school that requires it.)
All my other non science classes are either a B+ or an A

Answering what your chances are at this point would be equivalent to trying to predict who will win the NCAA tournament.

There are too many incomplete variables. You've only taken a few prereqs and haven't taken the DAT yet. You also didn't mention your volunteering and shadowing hours. The only advice I have is to figure out how to get better grades in the remainder of your prereqs. Hire a tutor, talk to juniors and seniors at your institution, go to office hours. If you get an upward trend in grades going and do well on the DAT, yes you would have a good chance.

I wouldn't necessarily mention the stuttering on your application. I don't see a reason to do so.
