Hi all....here's some food for thought. i know most dental schools hav it in their admissions policy not to take into account race, creed, religion, disabilities, etc and judge an applicant solely on what he/she beings to the table. but lets take my example here. i suffer from a slight stutter in that there r times wen i hav difficulty communicating. its something hereditary n its in my family. no level of therapy can get rid of it. as a kid, my stutter was really bad. but as i grew older, it got more n more managable. however, its not non-existent and still plays a role in my life. it hasnt stopped me from adoptin leadership roles as most ppl r understanding and so on. but r u seriously tellin me that the interviewer will not look negatively at this. i mean communication is a big part of dentistry rite? jus so u know, i hav 2 interviews in jan and i was thinkin bout this while preparin for these interviews. wat do u guys think. be brutally honest. am i tryin to get into the wrong profession. but then agen every good profession needs u to hav some level of communication rite?
