Denver OMFS Residency

I'm applying to oms residency for this next year. one of the places is denver. some of the residents at my school have said that the program might not be that great. i was wondering if anyone knew anything about it. thanks for the help

Dont know anything, and good luck finding anything out. I sent the Program Director two emails asking about externshinps and the program in general, not one response. Called and left a message also, not a response. Tried to discuss all this with the staff assistant, she didnt know sh1t either. But other than that Denver is great, the skiing that is.

I emailed about an externship, and got no reply either. Their website doesn't grant any insight into the program either.

P.S. There really aren't that many big slopes in Denver, not even any good bunny hills.

I dont know if you are being sarcastic or technical. Yeah you are right, Denver proper doesnt have any skiing, but 40 miles outside their is great skiing. I guess Salt Lake City doesnt have good skiing either.

Thanks for the help. I've had the same problems ie no returned phone calls, no reply to email. Oh well, guess I can try to find something out if I can get an interview. One more thing, I heard they hadn't matched anyone in about 7yrs. they get their resident from someone who didn't match. Anyone else heard anything like that?

I have not heard one good thing about this program.

Ditto here.

And they routinely show up on the list of programs after the match with positions open.
