Anyone care to comment on the current deployment cycle for their specific MTF/base for the Army? From our department there has been a relative decrease in deployment tasking which maybe due to the anticipated draw down in 2014.

What's everyone else's experience?

Thanks. Have you deployed yet?

EXTRACTS, don't try and sound above him. He gave you an accurate response. NEVER mess with OPSEC.

I'd recommend you send your @mil adress to the admins so they can give you the "military" account (thus proving to us that you are a current service member who as a need to know) and then either ask people to private message you their experience or email you at you @mil account.

Thanks for the recommendations. Do you think President Obama is violating OPSEC when he states his Afghanistan withdrawal plan to the American public?

We are withdrawing from Afghanistan. That's no secret. I was just curious if the deployment tempo was the same as previous. I wasn't asking for specific units, orders, objectives, etc. It's also no secret that line units have increased their dwell time.

I apologize if this question upset certain people. With that, I am done with this forum.

That should be your answer right there. Not sure what, or why, you're asking.

There's so much wrong with this idea I don't know where to begin.
