I was wondering, how long does it normally it take for schools to return your deposit after you withdraw your application?

I am having a little bit of trouble getting into contact with PR. I emailed him to let him know I am withdrawing about 2 months ago. I have called about 6 times and sent 2 additional emails, but have not gotten a response.

Are you sure they refund any of it? Did you withdraw before their refund deadline (if they have one)?

Not all schools offer a deposit-refund upon withdrawal of an applicant's interest; are you certain I.A.U.P.R. extends a refund? In any event, having taken your money, they certainly are obligated to reply to your concern. If they do offer refunds (even partial ones), I think you should have gotten one by now, assuming you did notify the school of your decision to not attend, two months ago. I recommend you simply continue to try to reach the institution, perhaps calling a few hours ahead of or before whatever time you have been.

I know we've already been over this millions of times, but a no-refund policy is absolute busch league. As if we won't owe enough money by the time we're done with school!

Hey i've tried to get in contact with PR as well in regards to other things....and the same has happened with me....no return calls back or email repsonse. I just thought it was me. and i've called various times during the day. Hope it works out!

HEy guys,

I withdrew the beginning of March and got the 875 out of the 1,000 deposit back in 3 weeks. I believe another office does the transaction so that is why it takes some time. If it has been over a month since you withdrew, I would call back again until you can talk to someone on the phone (no MSGs). If I am not mistaken, I think the withdraw date was April 15th.
