Would a police report show up on the med school background check? No charges were pressed, nothing happened with it. I'm not sure how in-depth the Certiphi screening goes, so I'm just wondering if anyone else out there knows. Thanks!
I'm not sure, but you could call up a lawyer and ask. Don't self-report unless it's on your record, especially if no charges were pressed. I'm not in a position to give legal advice, but if you weren't convicted, I'd think that it's "innocent until proven guilty."

Obviously I'm no expert and you should probably consult a lawyer, but the Certiphi background check said that you don't have to disclose offenses for which you were accused but not convicted, so I'm assuming that covers police reports with no charges.
That being said, talk to a lawyer, not a bunch of premeds.
Does anyone know if that piece of information would show up AT ALL? Or if it the report didn't amount to anything, that piece of information wouldn't be released outside the police office?
This is too important to mess around with. SDN is full of neurotic minds who are not personally invested in your background check and its results. So any advice from said people should not be heeded.
