Desktop in Dental School

You don't really need a laptop. I have one, but I don't bring it to school at all.
 
Depends. There were only a handful of times in the last four years that I NEEDED a laptop. As long as you have access to one (say, borrow a friend's), you should be okay with a desktop.
 
I personally like desktops much better, but do you need a laptop in dental school?

Some students use iPads at school rather than bringing a laptop. I really don't use my laptop in class and, thus, don't drag the heavy thing to class. It's just personal preference whether you use one or not.
