Hello!

I discovered this program I really like at Shenandoah University in Israel, but this is the first year they are offering the program, and so it is not yet AOTA accredited. AOTA has given it Developing Status so they are allowed to admit students, but their next full accreditation review won't be until 2017-2018. That means I could have graduated and I won't know if it is accredited yet! This worries me, but I really like the program.

What do you all think about this? How much of a risk would I be taking by applying to this program?

I would call aota and ask if you can take nbcot if they're not accredited until 2017-18. If you can't it defeat the purpose of going to OT school I think.
