what's the best medical dictionary out there? My uncle wants to buy me a book before i start med school and i figured that a dictionary would be useful once classes begin. Any suggestions for other types of books would be appreciated.

Steadman's medical dictionary, definetly I use it all the time. It's huge but it is worth it.
Congrats on your acceptance and good luck  •••quote:••• ••••

Thanks....the concise version or the regular edition?

The regular edition

On a totally different note, I applaud you for being practical. I sick of seeing pre-MS1s on this board asking about which anatomy text they should buy and study "just to get a head start," despite everyone telling them not to study anything this summer.
