Did any of you get to medical school by just cheating, sucking at classes( math...etc.),not doing work, not studying or any other things like that?
just wondering, but i seems like no one wants to answer

Probably the closest I've ever come to cheating was getting old exams from the same professor. Through most of high school and undergrad I got by with cramming the day before an exam, which kind of hurt me once I got to med school because I spent the first two blocks trying to find my studying rhythm. BTW, I checked out your previous posts and note you're a 9th grader. Go enjoy being a ninth grader instead of worrying about med school and matching into dermatology for Christ's sake.
Sort of. I did my undergraduate years long before I even started thinking about medical school and had only average grades, certainly not medical school material.
Additionally, when the time came to take the pre-requisites I was fortunate enough to take most of my organic chemistry classes with a professor who didn't believe in grades and gave everybody an A so I didn't have to work that hard.

I'll admit, I cheat all the time. I figured out how to walk by watching what everyone else did and copied them. Same thing with eating. Though, I did come up with breathing all on my own.Did any of you get to medical school by just cheating, sucking at classes( math...etc.),not doing work, not studying or any other things like that?
Im actually an 11th grader and i didnt mean cheating all the time, i ment just once in while look over your shoulder for an answer or just copy someones homework or just compare answers and if you have it wrong then change it.
Im not trying to say I cheat im just asking a question ( I do cheat once in a while here and there)
Also when you have a regular chem class in college do you start over or do you have to know the basics you learned in high school and go from there?
This is so the wrong board for a high school student. At least start in pre-allo and work your way up. Folks on here are many years removed from where you apparently are now. But no -- cheating is not the path. If you get caught, your career can be over before it starts.
No don't come to pre-allo.... try the international forums!

just one more question
Well i do get fairly good grades like 3.7 gpa(low compared to the kids in my school with 4.3's and up).
Do you have to be really smart to start a carrer in medicine? do you have to know what you learned 4 years ago in pre-cal or alg 2 or is it just science? Do you have to be really good at grammar and stuff? I just kinda got a late start on my learning and i would consider myself stupid except that i just get alright grades because i actually do my work but then forget it.
I never read because i rarely have time to. did you guys read alot when you were 17 or under?
btw thanks alot for all your help
Admissions committees have extra-sensory perception, and knowledge of previous cheating incidents will be instantly perceived with their god-like powers. You are now doomed to a career of an unmentionable nature.Im actually an 11th grader and i didnt mean cheating all the time, i ment just once in while look over your shoulder for an answer or just copy someones homework or just compare answers and if you have it wrong then change it.
