Did anybody get an acceptance letter from Temple or NYU yet?

This is driving me crazy. I need to keep myself busy. I can't take this. :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared: 😡 😡 😕 😕 😕
Please send me either rejection letters or acceptance letters. I want to hear something.
 
you might get a temple letter of accep. today if you live in the east coast. they send it out early so that you would get it on the first, but hey you might just get one today;l.
 
guess we'll find out 2morrow... just keep your fingers crossed!

I live an hour away from the school and nothing in the mail today... It is TIMED to get to you where ever you are on the first.

I just received an acceptance letter from Temple. 😀 If you live in PA, you should receive your letter today like me 😀

I just couldn't wait 😳 So I called Temple today. Unfortunately they wouldn't divulge any information. So... the waiting continues.

I don't know if I can take this :scared: I think I just pee'd my pants.

It was in a big white envelope with an acceptance letter with a violet colored letter for your deposit. Also, there was some paper for financial aids info.
It says send the deposit through overnight or certified mail.
What's certified mail????
 
Certified mail is sent through the post office. It basically gives your enveloe a tracking number so you can find it in case it gets lost. It costs extra. They probably want you to send it certified so you have proof of when you sent it and can track down proof of when they received it.
 
Congrats snapple59!!! i guess i can't ask where in PA you are.. 🙄 I'm jealous.. it's either i'm rejected or something else... i really do hope that it's the "something else" 😀

$750 by Jan. 15th and another $750 by April 1st.

I know, I know. I'm in Pittsburgh right now though. Perhaps that adds another day (PLEASE!!!!!).

Wait, so if I don't get accepted, would they send me a thin envelope or nothing at all? My interview was 9/27 so they have to know what they want to do with me by now...

Just...please! take me! :luck:
 
I called NYU this morning and she said the letters were being mailed out today. I forgot to ask about email.
 
I also called Temple and the woman on the other end must have been confused b/c She pulled up my record and was like "oh, yeah well we have your DAT and your application fee, so you should be hearing from us soon" DER. I had an interview too! Then she said something that made me nervous- she said as of Nov. 20th my file had "no status" - whatever that means. At the very least it should have said "interviewed". Either it means I didn't get in, or they don't put that info on their general computers, or maybe she was reading what they put up on AADSAS (ie nothing). Now I'm really nervous.

Sometimes too much information is a bad thing.
 
i called temple as well... the lady said that my applicatgion is still being reviewed by the admissions committee..... so that cant be too good...
 
We probably spoke to the same lady. Did you interview yet? Id so, when did you interview? Mine was Oct. 20.
 
I don't think that woman had current information. There's no way they're still sitting on our apps. Brian even said in our interview that they'll send them out on Wed for a Dec. 1 delivery. He would have told us we would be in a second round at our interview. *right?*

I believed Brian said to the students that if you don't hear from Temple on Dec. 1st, the people should contact him directly. Call Brian and ask about your status. Even if you don't get in through first round, I'm sure he's going to hook you up for 2nd round.
 
I just got my acceptance call from the University of Florida, so I cancelled my interview for December 15, so good luck to everyone.

Didnt Brian say they also call, or they have in the past?
 
Got my mail today...saw a BIG WHITE ENVELOPE

started to get all happy.... turns out to be for my dad

But i still have yet to hear from USC who will send a email later today.😕
 
I just returned from the mailbox. Nada, nothing, zip. 😡

With the few Temple acceptances being posted, it is hard to believe that they were timed and ALL arrived today. Or maybe that is just wishful thinking.
 
i guess i need to figure out again what to do with myself until mail comes tomorrow.. or monday.. or tuesday.. or never 🙁

I don't think that's wishful thinking. I think you're right. If I don't get anything from Temple on Monday I'm going to call Brian and check my status.
