Did anybody use Dental Board Busters Part 1 and 2?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'd also like to see some reviews on this material. The samples on the website looked good to me but the website itself is a bit fishy and I was wondering why no reviews on sdn until now.

Is it valuable to buy these materials "Dental Board Busters Part 1 and 2" from Braintree? It is about $200 bucks. Many thanks in advance
Dental busters is a total waste for 200$
you can easliy buy crack the nbde ,and other stuff for 100$

i 'ld go for tried n tested decks instead of any unknown busters..

I used Dental Board Busters Part 1. You can buy both part 1 and 2 books for $200. In my honest opinion...the book was so easy to read. It had so many exam questions built into the definations. When I went to take the practice exams...I remebered so much. I bought the decks too...I just hated using the flashcards...by the time I was finished with those cards I didn't remember the first card I read.

I talked to one of the owners of Dental Board Busters prior to purchasing...he told me the whole site and sales of the book was new. I was a bit skeptical myself but It was well worth it. For a hundred bucks you really can't beat it...even if it's just a secondary reference.
The exam has evolved so much,to think reading 1 book is good is a stupid concept,DENTAL BUSTERS are a waste of time and money
Stick to Kaplan nbde, netters ,usml lecture notes ,videos THATS ENOUGH

Star, I used Dental Board Busters Part 1. It was very helpful and so well organized, I would recommend it. The books were published this year, that's why so many of us have not heard of them. It encompasses all the old tests and the science info into one book. I looked at the samples on their website and it seemed like a good concept. It was a great decision for me. I don't know anyone who has used part 2 yet, but I would use it for sure. I started a thread a while back, you can take a look at it.

I bought the NBDE Part I, 2nd Edition from these guys. They had a deal going, so I picked it up for $50. I figured that even if it wasn't that good, I wouldn't be at a total loss.

That said, I can't imagine paying the full price of $165 (as listed on the back cover) for this book. Even the amount I spent is looking like it might not have been a wise decision. I don't want to be negative, because I think nearly all of the information one would need to be successful for the NBDE is in there. The problem is that there is no semblance of organization. The Anatomical Sciences section is a nightmare. If I took my notes from Anatomy and Histology and shuffled them completely, it would be presented in an order similar to what this book offers. Perhaps I'm being overly dramatic here, but the book is poorly organized. The icing on the cake is that there are no chapters, and nothing that even resembles any form of index.

Like I said, the info isn't inherently bad, but if you wanted to use this as a quick reference, you'd be completely out of luck. Even after getting acquainted with it, it's hard to find exactly where you read something.
