Did anyone apply without fulfilling all course requirements?

This may sound like a stupid question, but did anyone apply to a school and they did not fulfill all the pre-req courses? If so, did they say anything? Get an interview? Even accepted?

My dilemma is that I wanted to apply to Arizona but never took Physiology which was on their courses needed list. I'm graduating in a month so there really wouldn't be a chance to take it before I apply.

You can apply without having your prereqs completed but you HAVE to complete them before you matriculate. Meaning if you don't take the prereq before Fall '08 (the start of your 1st dental term), they will revoke your provisional admittance and give it to someone on the waitlist. Take summer school.

it would probably help, but it isnt a required course for the DAT. To the OP, you would be ok applying but you would probably have to take the class before you matriculate.

i'm still finishing my g-chem requirements and i was accepted. but of course, i have to finish the class before it's "official".

you guys do realize how broad the scope of info for the bio section is, right? you shouldnt tell the OP to take 1 course to be able to answer a few questions when he can just use the kaplan book to learn the stuff he needs to know. plus, most general bio classes should cover some physiology.

Hey, I am in the same dilemma as you. I do not know whether to take a physiology class also since I'll be graduating. I did take Organismal Biology, anyone know whether that fills the requirement?

Are you guys serious? I didn't take it and I still did ok. 20 on bio section if that matters to anyone. Yeah I took it two weeks ago.

I guess you are confusing knowing Physiology and taking Physiology.

No physiology for me, and acceptances to most schools I interviewed at. DAT BIO score was 99% percentile. So I guess it is true what they say about opinions being like buttholes.

no i m not confused with knowing physiology & taking physiology....all my comments are on whether physiology is imp for DAT or not... i am not saying that you have to take physiology class at particular school all m saying is that its imp to know physiology before u take DAT....i guess ur the 1 who is getin confused on my comments...

do you see where the confusion begins? nobody said that physiology wasnt on the DAT, but you dont need to take a physiology class to do well. it would be a help if you did, but its not really necessary like organic chem and gen chem.
