is UCLA Canadian/International unfriendly? I was pretty stupid in applying to some schools before doing more research on them. So now I'm doing the UCLA supplemental app, I realized that they have one page dedicated to US citizenship/residency and there's no option/information for internationals. Also according to this http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=619685 they didn't accept any single person from outside the US.
I just want to confirm ASAP before wasting my time with the supplemental application.

Thanks!!!

You're wasting your time if you're not from California, or think you're an outstanding applicant. You're not from California, so it's all up to how outstanding you think you are.

To put 'outstanding' into perspective, they enrolled only 1 international applicant (from Korea) in the 2010 entering class.

I didn't buy that $150 lottery ticket.

Thanks for your response. Maybe it's time to ditch the 15 page application...

I was going to apply to UCLA until I scrutinized their stats in ADEA guide where the OOS numbers concluded I would be throwing a good $150 in the trash can. A lot more better ways to spend that.

That 35$ book could save you a lot of money!

I'm glad so many people are getting turned off by the long supplemental app. gives me a better shot 🙂

Well, in my case, I'm turned off by their low oos / international applicant acceptance rate. I'm not bothered by the long supplemental app.
