I shadowed 3 dentists, but when I applied I only put 1.
Now the one I put down didn't write my letter, and the other two dentists wrote my recommendation letter.

What should I do?

Should I contact the office and let them know that I also shadowed the other 2 dentists?
Or they will know that because they wrote my letter?

Thanks

Yeah I would contact them. Just say you forgot to split up the hours between your three dentists. Shouldn't be a big deal.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you put down ALL of your shadowing in the first place? What was the goal in leaving some of your experience off?

You should try and call the school and clarify why the dentists said you shadowed them, but you never said you shadowed them. It might look funny.

I just didn't think the other 2 were "legit" shadowing experience. I felt like if i put them down it's taking unfair advantage over other applicants.
The 2 dentists are my close family friends.

Thanks a lot though.

With the competitiveness of trying to get into dental school, take every advantage you can get. Two close family friends isn't an unfair advantage. It's just an advantage! Diggin the honesty though. 👍
