Title pretty much speaks for itself. When you all graduated school, did you feel confident in your abilities or did you have an adjustment period of sorts where you doubted yourself? I am a 2nd year student about to go on my first full time rotation in a couple weeks and sometimes I can't help myself but ask, "I know I can pass the NPTE...but will I be competent??" I think I might be attributing these feelings because I have not had any clinical experience yet. I feel like I've been in school for 2 years and barely know anything lol. I also feel like other programs' schedules are much rigorous time wise (we are not in school everyday from 8-5 and the difficulty of the content has reduced as compared to first year).

Edit: this doesn't really reflect on how I think my school is preparing me, more so how I can't imagine fitting 3 years of education in my brain and coming off the graduation line primed and confident in my skills.

I am about to graduate in a few months and I feel competent in the setting I had most of my rotations in (outpatient) At the same time, I also recognize that there will be a significant gap between myself and someone who has been practicing for a few years.
