I am wondering if someone with past experience can tell me more about the difference between a PhD and a PsyD? I have done research on both and I know a little about them but my main question is, is one better than another and does one pay better than the other? I am in my third year of undergraduate so I am just beginning to research school possibilities. Also does anyone have any comments about psychology graduate schools? I know there are hundreds and I have been researching those but it is hard to make a decision so if anyone has any input, it would be appreciated! One more thing...has anyone heard of Argosy University? Thank you.

This has been discussed ad nauseum on this site and if you do on search you will find alot of info, and most of it biased one way or the other....except for paendrag's opinion...... ;)

If I have time perhaps I'll post links to the different threads....

Psici this is why we need THOSE THREADS as stickies on the top of the board..

Ya but those threads are all opinion and BS, not fact. If you a link to a good factual overview I will stick it... :)

Here are some links -- most address the original question from this thread, but some might also be helpful to those currently in the application process. Might result in more than one sticky? Check out/post whatever you think is appropriate or helpful.
