Difference between DDS and DMD?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
no difference. I think DMDs are usually given out on East Coast....DDS on West coast (correct me if I'm wrong)

Harvard was the first to offer the DMD. Some people picked it up. The ADA tries to get everyone to use DDS, but people won't change because of "tradition". There is no difference between the degrees. I personally prefer DDS because thats what I'm gonna have.🙂

Thanks guys 😀
