amblypia = a person not correctable to 20/20, and is totally a diagnosis of exclusion. a person with stabismus does not necessary have an eye turn .. AND a person with amblyopia does not necessarily have strabismus

I don't agree that it is a diagnosis of exclusion. If an eye is not correctable to 20/20 and does not have any amblyogenic factors, I don't think you can then say that they have amblyopia.
In what cases does a person have strabismus without an "eye turn"??
Did you mean to say that a person with strabismus does not necessarily have amblyopia?
