The large intestine Absorbs water right? it also host the ecoli which is a source of vitamin k. does it do anything with Na+?
 
Na+ reabsorption is usually co-transported with glucose in the kidney, so not much is left when things get in to the intestine, and if there was salt coming out of your poo, then your butt would get really dry by osmosis 😀
