We have a mandatory purchase here at Nova. Dell Inspiron notebooks instead of Powerbooks tho... 🙂

The "digital" thing with Colorado is certainly nothing new--the only change is that they are requiring Powerbooks instead of some PC.

Our school was the first in the nation to start this program along with IBM. there are plus and minuses to this thing. For one, it sounds a lot more impressive than it actually is. Second, you save so much more money with books than paying for the entire DVD package every year.
True, the procedures can be recorded and seen by students prior to class or clinic. But the profs can do this anyways and make it available to their students over a class website or something.
