Hello everyone,
I know this is a broad question but any information would be much appreciated. I am starting up a small practice (3-4 operatories) and am having a difficult time finding any pricing information on x-ray systems. Those of you are savvy on the subject, please let me know what it would cost and any advantages/disadvantages you may know about. Any information on the following topics would be much appreciated:
Approximate cost of digital vs. traditional x-ray units
Advantages/disadvantages of some of the major digital x-ray companies (Dexis, Schick, Kodak, Sidexis, others?)
Cost differences among the major brands including software costs, sensor cost, etc.
Any information would help as none of the websites have pricing information and I don't really want to meet with each rep individually. Thank you all so much for your help.
