i'm entering 3rd year and trying to decide between going back to the school i started at and the one i transferred into for my "ex-fiance" and has a better reputation (top 50)

so my question is how important is where you went to med school in factoring into which residencies you get?

go whereever you feel the happiest.
will you be able to perform well in your 3rd year with your ex-fiancee around?? that is the question. however, remember that during the 3rd year you rarely see your classmates so it may not be that awkward.
i think grades are more important that school attended for residencies. i know some people will disagree here.
