im currently getting all A's in my classes including Physiology and Chemistry, but the problem is Im getting a C in Physics (calculus based) right now....I dont want to get C in my any classes because that would really drag my GPA down, so you guys think i should drop it with a W instead and retake it next semester? Between a C and a W, which one is less desirable when applying....thanks for all the feedbacks in advance......

One C is not going to kill you. I think a W looks worse than a C because a lot of times it is assumed that you were failing so you withdrew.

uhmmm.....thats a good point, i never thought about it like that, thanks for your input.......I wont drop my class now then........uhmm...

a C can hurt the GPA that's for sure, but a W can always be explained

I tend to agree with Lao on this one. If your GPA is very important to you, then I would say drop it. It has to be a good reason though. Just because you are getting a C does not warrant dropping a class. Having a C means you were not meeting the demands of the class - you should figure out why and act accordingly.

I hate Physics with passions........Im getting all A's in all my classes right now including Bio, Chem, and Physiology and the rest but my brain does not seem to respond well to this subject......I aced thru Calculus, Ordinary Differential Equations, Discrete Math, Infinite Math, Linear and stuffs like that yet i struggle with this stupid class.......I dont even know why we need Physics for medical anyways......
