Hey everyone,
So I am sending off my application tomorrow but I have a quick question before doing so. I am from a rural area (<50,000 population) should I include this in disadvantaged status? Thanks.

How is that disadvantaged?😕

rural populations do not have easily accessible healthcare. I was told by my pre-professional advisers that I could include that I was from a rural area and I assume that this would be in disadvantaged status?

An example of a disadvantage status is like.... living in poverty, going to school during the day, and working at night 6 days week to support your younger brothers and sisters.

Living in rural area is not disadvantage status (at least not what admission are looking for).

I believe the disadvantage status is something that... makes it hard for you to obtain equal education as the average middle-class individual. Living in a rural area, and assuming your family is middle class, you can easily move into a big city and attend college there.
