I'm seeing a lot of discrepancy on MCAT from MSAR versus the med schools website. I know the MSAR is a year behind (correct?) as in it doesn't have info from 2017 cycle? But the website theoretically should have info from 2017 cycle? Because some schools I'm looking at have MCAT averages lower than the MSAR MCAT average but the med school sites are more recent....what should I pay attention to more? I feel like if anything the more recent MCAT would be higher but I'm seeing lower on multiple schools sites

Edit: I don't mean AMCAS in title I mean school websites sorry

Schools often report slightly different values - like average vs median, or matriculants vs admits. You can trust the MSAR always!
