Did you guys see this thread about the Indiana scandal...amazing! Just under half (46 students to be exact) of the 2nd year Indiana DS students were caught cheating and lots of them got expelled. I just ask myself, if there were 46 students that got caught cheating, how many haven't got caught cheating given how difficult it is in the first place to even get caught. I know what you are all going to say, "it only hurts them in the long run because if they cheat now, what's to stop them from cheating in their practice"? But come on, this is amazing! 46 students. It's scary to think that they probably cheated to get into dental school in the first place. What say you? I gladly send out a preemptive "culprits likes company" to all of you bloggers who will inexorably tell me why, "everybody cheats" and, "I bet you're a cheater" and of course, my favorite, "get off your high horse". I just think its incredible the quantity of students that were caught cheating; a potential subculture that further bridles our acceptance into dental school.
I say that the good dentists will naturally be the ones that can naturally be successful. Check out the thread to this one if you haven't already.
