Attempted to change my alarm time, and instead turned it off. Missed all lectures again today. OOPS!!!
 
Glad that even though the lectures are supposedly required, we don't have sign-ins or have to swipe ID badges or I'd be out of school.

No big loss. Today I learned that if I hit snooze 6 times in a row, my alarm decides that it has had enough and therefore goes into "snooze until tomorrow" mode. Pretty good for the first day of a rotation. Good thing they weren't expecting me.

hahahahahaha....ya...I had everyone in my afternoon small group session harass me about not showing up anymore (missed Friday too).

You'd think I had said DOs were not equal to MDs. Actually I was arguing the opposite- that they are so much the same that the degrees should be combined. But apparently I'm just a premed who couldn't tell a "OMM treatment from a massage". I can recognize a bruised ego though . :laugh:

BTW, if I do take something too far....tell me. :laugh:
 
Seriously, this fight between DO and MD has become like the equal rights movement.
And just like the equal rights movement, some DOs state something like "while we are equal, we are actually better because of xxx."
There are places where they are treated the same, there are places they are treated differently. The same could be said for male/female MDs, black/white MDs, thin/fat MDs, cropped hair/hippy hair MDs. Somewhere, someone is going to treat you differently. How you(in the general sense, none of this is directed at anyone) react is what makes the difference.
 
I'm thinking about creating a poll- Who hates Dropkick more, pre-allo or preosteo? Of course the amount of people who frequent those respective forums has to be taken into effect.

...so I had a somewhat deep thought....how do you know when you've tried everything you can (ACLS-wise) in the ED and call time of death? Is it a feeling you eventually pick up?
 
When rigor mortis starts to set in is a good sign you been doing CPR and ACLS for long enough. 😉
