DMD+Dental engineer

Is such a combination possible? I know there's BME Ph.D+MD program, but does that include BME Ph.D+DMD as well?

I do know there is biomedical engineering as a brach of engineering ... and i know of engineers applying for dds ,,, but in depth about this brach i know not as much .
probably someone with more knowledge would post something soon !

I've heard Tufts has a 8 year program for students out of High School that is a combined BSc and MSc in Engineering as well as a DMD. Might want to contact them and see if they still offer this program.
