JP: As usual, thank you for your advice and insight! Can't wait to meet you and your wife (Karen, is it?) I wish you the best of luck with the COMLEX. You rule, man!

Prad: Hmm, maybe that picture of you and Darci will get delivered to us like, 2 years later. Of course, I probably won't have my AOL account anymore.

Jenny: How exciting that you got to go to Canada! I've only been there once, a very long time ago, to Ottawa. What apartments will you be looking at when you're in DSM?

Raj: Let us know if you ever find a supermodel to room with. Maybe we can get invited to some crazy parties 😀 Have you asked the Imperial about any openings? I looked up the computer we're getting (specs can be seen here) . Basically it will have a 30 GB hard drive, which is more than enough for me, as I am currently using less than 3 GB on my computer 😀 But bring on the WiFi, and the downloading will commence 😉

Haha, I forgot! I had lots of fun, but I'm not sure about the two of them. And Darci is a real live person! She's really cute too. How'd you manage to do that Prad? 😉 Just kidding!!

Hmm...what else... Well, Prad in person is just like how he types. Funny guy! And apparently, he can shop! I have to clear up the rumor that he started about himself, because he does have style. Or maybe Darci dressed him that day...😛

We've already made plans to break into 3000 Grand's pool if the heat gets unbearable 😀

Maybe you can ask him for more gossip. I probably made a fool of myself without knowing it!! :laugh:

As for how I pulled Darci off, it took months of reserach, planning, kniveing, and stalking...oh did I say that...

The feeling is mutual Prad! We will be in DSM in 3 short weeks! Yikes, gotta get packing... How is your packing going? I just got my boxes today. Probably will start next week if I behave 😀
 
I've got most of my clothes into suitcases, and I'm going to start packing my books on Thursday. I'm at my parents place now getting my medical stuff cleared. I ran into a problem, my parents dont know where any of my shot records are so tommarow, I have to go to my old doctors office and see if he has them. Oy veh...
 
Are we supposed to send in money for health insurance at any time during the summer? Or do we wait until orientation to write out our checks?

😳 I would go look this up or call them, but since I'm here anyway...

You might want to call. But I dont see how they can make you get it before orientation.
 
Well hello again y'all. Just wanted to say that I just got my acceptance to DMU today. Looks like I was rather high on the "wait, wait don?t tell me" list! Have a good one guys. I am getting ready to call it a night.

Congratulations on your acceptance. 🙂 It's great to hear that you'll be joining us at DMU this august.

Jane, I'm not sure of all of the places that I'll be looking at, but I'm going to definately look at Imperial, 4 seasons, and Hampton House. I'm still trying to decide on other places to look at. 🙂 I'm also still trying to decide how far i'm willing to live from campus. I'd prefer to live right across the street but if there's something really great within probably 5 miles, that might be awesome too.

It's so crazy how many people are from CA. When I interviewed I met 2-3 people who were also from California. I still can't believe that you'd be willing to leave the wonderful weather. 🙂

When we all get into Des Moines, we'll definately have to meet up for drinks. I'll get there a lot later then everyone else (end of July) so we'll have to have a get together once all of us late movers get out there.

Oh thank GOD! I thought I was the only one who was having a problem with that... Let's see, I've called the Health Dept in St. Augustine already (they should be mailing them to me), but I don't know if they have my complete record, since I was born in New Jersey and moved to Florida when I was four. I also had my undergrad university fax me a copy of their records....only MMR so far. Worse comes to worse, I'll be shelling out a bunch of money to get stuck a couple of times.

Has any one gotten there physical yet? Remember that all those forms are due June 28!

You stalked Darci too...that's how I got Kelly....and she just thought that I listened well and was very perceptive. HA! There was a Kelly Shrine in my basement (That was a joke...there are no basements in Florida)😛

You might get to meet her during Labor Day weekend. She's not going to come out the last week of June. When we went looking for tickets it was $400 dollars and thats a little too rich. This Long Distance thing is going to suck...

Oh yeah I went by my old doctors office, and guess what since it's been over 7 years since I went to him, my records have been destroyed...that really sucks.

Hows Kelly and Tegan doing?

Kelly and Teagan are doing good. They're getting ready to drive down to Florida on Friday. I'm gonna be a bachelor for ten days...cold pizza and hot beer...yum!

yup...she's actually going to learn how to do medical billing (my parents own a medical billing and collections company). We figure that skill will be pretty valuable in the future.

Yeah...she's gonna try to modem into the business...the only bad thing is long distance charges....but now they have that flat rate long distance, so it won't hurt as bad.

Kelly and I went to school together....we really didn't meet and become friends until our junior year though...She was always considered an "Untouchable"
 
We actually double-dated with each other. I was dating my girlfriend, and she was dating a guy on my baseball team. When we all would go out, we had a better time with each other than are respective girlfriend/boyfriend. We finally began dating in April of our senior year.
 
Why dont you just get high speed? Or do you have to dial into a particular server get the info? "Untouchable" huh well you must have done something right.🙂
 
The funny thing was, by the time our yearbook came out...me and my ex were voted "Cutest Couple"...we had dated since our freshman year. A week and a half after we separated, Kelly and I went on our first date. And the rest was history....
