I just got back from omaha and a two day beer binge...........I don't know why I thought drinking for 13 straight hours on saturday was a good idea, but it was fun until early in the am.........bernard even made it to the pool party.......what a way to end the year!
 
by the way, right now astro is paving some road somewhere in the back roads of nebraska and probably making sweet love to some super classy girls.......or he is in chicago.........I figure its the same either way :laugh: I know you are still here bernard, so you best post some fun stuff to distract me from my research and gunner reading habits.
 
i accidently clicked the link frenchie posted and started reading all the posts about the AOA and stuff along those lines, but then i started to get pissed b/c our forum is NOT for serious issues during the summer time. luckily i realized i was on another forum and calmed back down.

Chicago is a blast; i hope you all get to experience it someday. some girl came up to me last night right in front of kristin and asked me to take my hat off so she could decide if she still thought i was hot. i told her it was a bad idea b/c i'm actually ugly and GAY. one of the many random stories which happen around here.

hope everyone is having a good summer. ncaa 2006 comes out tuesday bitches.

I am going to chicago this weekend to a cubs game, and I will be in iowa city on friday night. I don't know if you are planning on visiting the wife, but we are planning on staying 10 minutes from Wrigley field on saturday and going out, so if you are around we may have to meet up. If not you can always throw your gf's hot friends at us and tell them we are chicago virgins and need a guide............even though I am going with a bunch of lawyers and our dental school friend. I love you by the way...................bernard keeps trying to get in my pants.
 
well ray you figured me out, since I know so much about cars, like how to drive them to the mechanic, and how to write checks to pay for them to be fixed............................

I also bought a new phone today that downloads real songs as ringers........astro when you call me it plays "any way you want it" by journey 👍

So I was getting some coffee at starbucks at and this guy and girl(great rac bythe way) in front of me and were obiously on a date and they were chatting it up. The girl, a pre-premed (thats what she said) was going on and on about her experiences volunteering at a hospital. She was telling the poor sap that she (as a volunteer) was stitching up lacerations and casting people all by her self. I had to bite my lip to keep from laughing out loud...I was thinking what a load of ****!


But then it hit me like a ton of bricks....when the last time some girl lied to me to get me into bed? 🙁 🙁 🙁

Frenchie made the A-team cut this weekend. He has a solid background with water and knows jimmy buffett songs by heart. the lake was warm, and frenchie was great friends with the sun screen.

and yes...boat drinks all around.
 
Chicago was awesome..................yet again I found myself trying to drink for > 12 hours. I just don't have it in me anymore🙁, yes a very sad story. Astro if you are ever around look me up, frenchie if you wanna go out sometime this week let me know..........I have to do research wed, thurs and then I am done

I'm sitting in java g's reading some surgery stuff to prepare for my preceptorship and I realized, this is the rest of my life.........I will forever be sitting in coffee shops trying to memorize a bunch of random stuff that I will get asked and know part of it, leading to me being yelled at. At least I will enjoy it in a sick and twisted way🙂

On board I'm the captain............so climb aboard astro.........come sail away with me.

We need to have some sort of good bye party to those of you who can make it to dsm before you leave for your respected rotations.

A little more than a month till the Hawks undoubtedly take the field in a season which we have a legitimate shot at a national title. GO HAWKS!

Any word on an afterparty after Bill and Katie's wedding?

I have to catch a plane at 1PM on the 14th back to HOTLANTA, but I'd be up for some partaying all night on the 13th....

Heck, we should drink from after their reception until 11AM on the 14th...that'll give me 2 hours to get to the airport!

I must say there is one problem here. I will be at another wedding and making a fast appearance at B + K's reception. One of my best friends from undergrad is getting married that day as well, and the number of hot women (including my GF) will be much greater there. maybe we can all meet at a bar afterward.

Hey babyruth,

If you haven't already, take the sample exams on the NBME website. There are 2 forms, each $45, that you take online and will be scored as soon as you finish them. I took both of these before my exam, and they were pretty accurate predictors of my score and good examples of the types of questions on the real deal. If you only want to take one form and save some money, I'd say go with Form 2 because I thought it was harder and more like what my test was like.

When's your test?

and if you F'ers want to know what hot is, you should have worked road const the last few weeks...hotter than crap. i worry that some might be getting sick.
