DMU vs ACOM

Iv put down my deposit for ACOM but just got accepted to DMU and need help deciding, although I’m leaning dmu.

Acom
Pros
- great rotation sites
- 6 hour drive
- good match list
- good amount of research
Cons
- small town
- high attrition and tough remediation policy
- more mandatory attendance

DMU
- amazing match list
- og DO school
- non mandatory attendance
- amazing match list
- good location
- decent amount of research? (If someone knows more about this please lmk)
Cons
- rotation sites lottery hit or miss
- 10 hour drive (but actually 2 hours by plane and cheap tickets so not big deal)

Go where you liked the most. Cheaper is usually better. Both good schools. You’ll be ok at either.

Thanks for the vote!! My heart has been saying DMU but I heard there’s more research at ACOM but most likely gonna put down a deposit at DMU soon!

Okay thank you! This was one of my biggest concerns, I thought it was easier to do case reports at acom since they have there own research page but I figured dmu had more quality research
