Do any MD schools REQUIRE a LOR from a doctor?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Everything I've seen has just been two science, one nonscience. Unless you have volunteered, shadowed, or done extensive research with a doctor, I'd just stick with the other letters. An employer would be a good letter writer, especially since he or she sees you in a different situation than medical experience and school.

University of Utah does. That's the only one I know of. None of the schools I applied to specifically required a letter from a doc.

If I recall correctly USUHS requires a letter from someone who observed you in a clinical setting. Could technically be a nurse or a PA or something but to me that requirement screamed "letter from a doctor".
