Hey guys! I’m new to SDN (hope I’m posting in the right place )! I’ve been really panicking about applying to DO schools this summer, and would really appreciate any advice anyone could give me.
I’m a junior studying Biology, minoring in psychology. 3.5 cGPA, 3.35 sGPA, with an upward trend. I got a C+ in orgo 2, but am currently retaking it at the same school. I’ve worked throughout undergrad, but am currently working night shifts in hospital as a CNA. Other EC’s include volunteering experience and an exec board position for a club I helped start. Little shadowing experience, hopefully will gain more this semester.
I haven’t taken the MCAT yet, planning on doing so in May and then applying right afterwards. I know it’s pretty hard to gauge my chances without an MCAT score, but I was wondering if I should apply this summer as planned, or hold off and do a post-bacc. And if I do apply this summer, which schools?
