NSU-COM actually has 4 affiliated dermatology residencies, so doing a rotation at one should give you the opportunity to be known by the other PD's. The program with North Broward Hospital District (Broward General) has a very good 4th year rotation, and being that this is South Florida, you will see a lot of malignant melanoma and so on.
I know that there is a DO derm program at pacific hospital in long beach, ca but i dont believe it is funded (ie...i dont think you get paid during ur residency there) and also i have heard that it is super competitive.
good luck to you
