I'm sure the interview for the DO/DMD specific program is going to involve questions about why you want to pursue both medicine and dentistry, yes. If you're not interested I would reach out to Nova and ask if you can just interview for the DMD program instead.

It sounds like you first have to get in into the program, only then you can be considered for the dual degree. I wouldn't worry about it

Not at all. When I interviewed I spoke about it with the dean for like 15 seconds. They've only had like 4 people ever go through with both degrees.

I had that last year, but they never mentioned it in the interview. They only choose candidates at orientation - as per conversation with the dean. So even if you choose to pursue just the DMD degree no further action required in ur end.
