DO EM programs in trouble

The Mt. Sinai DO EM Program in North Miami Beach is having some problem of some sort. I dont' believe its accredidation, but more hospital policy from what I hear. Really sucks because as a med student I thought it was a solid program and knew some of the residents there. Apparently a few of the hospitals that the residents rotated through are not renewing their contract with the program, so they are limited to only Mt. Sinai, which is too small an ED to be able to teach (or something along those lines). I am not sure of their accredidation status or what not, but if one of the students or residents there who knows more about it than I do could post, that'd be great.
Especially to correct me if I'm wrong.
It especially sucks cause I have a few friends who are interns/residents there... and I at one point almost applied there.
