I attended CC with GPA 3.82. Got my associate degree with liberal arts of science. However, when I transferred to 4 year university, it killed me so much. I got 8 C’s from orgo I and II, genetics, cell bio, biochem etc. all the core classes. And 1 W from orgo II. So after 4 year university I got gpa of 2.69 (only calculated from 4 year university credits). I think my combined gpa from CC and 4 year university will be between 3.1-2 I think...
My DAT is AA 19, TS 19, PAT 20. (QR 18, RC 17, Bio 21, GC 21, Orgo 16)
Should I consider getting into Master Program? Or any recommendation?
I applied last year, just got rejected from one school. ( I only applied to 2 schools cause I was not confident about myself)

Most likely SMP or taking a bunch of upper division science courses in a post-bacc.

Also retaking the DAT and scoring higher, especially in the sciences.

I had 11 C’s and 1 W and got accepted this cycle, so it is definitely possible!

Not to say that it will be easy; you definitely need to put in work to raise that GPA with additional classes, and apply broadly next time. I agree about a DAT retake if you can.

You can do this if you’re willing to push yourself. Good luck!

Thank you for the feedback.
Did you do post-bacc or SMP program to raise GPA?

Wow this is amazing! May I ask what your stats were? I’ve been stressing out so much over my grades. I have a 3.43 right now and I’ve gotten B’s in chem 1 & 2 and a C in chem 2 lab. Right now I’m taking Ochem 1 and I’m struggling a lot with it. I’m worried that with these rising GPA’s and DAT scores that I won’t be a competitive applicant. 🙁
