I applied to schools around my NY region, but I was wondering should I apply to safety schools? or would I just be wasting cash?

Should I apply to: LECOM, USN, Midwestern IL?

My stats are
Bio 19
GC 18
OC 19
RC 25
QR 17
PAT 20
TS 18
AA 20

GPA: 3.40
sGPA: 3.51
BCP: 3.61

People who've been through the process usually advise to apply to safety schools because it can save you time and money applying again.

What are your other schools? That way we can judge whether or not you absolutely need them or you could do without them

Hey amalgam,

I am serious when I say this but how can you advise people on where to apply when you, yourself, did not get in anywhere, well got rejected from everywhere to be more accurate?

You should absolutely apply to those schools if you don't want to go through this process again next year and waste a year on the end of your career. Your stats are good, but by no stretch of the imagination are they an "in the bag" acceptance (very few are). Apply to as many schools as you can afford this time around, saves time and money. Best of luck to you!!!

I have 4 interviews this cycle so far. Guess it's good to learn from your mistakes. 👍
Soon you'll learn your mistakes about trying to date online: no one likes you in person or the internet, so you might want to change up your game plan. lol

................sincere congrats to you. mind sharing your academic stats?

Also, I might try plenty of fish thing.

having been through the application process twice before i can tell you that 'safety schools' are always that safe of a bet. they reject people every year too.

your stats are good enough to get in, but which school will accept them is the million dollar question. you will put yourself in a better position by applying to more schools now than by having to reapply next year because you tried to save a few bucks now. i tried the 'save money' route and here i am in my third cycle - out of money and low on options. don't be like me...

good luck.
