do i still have to update AADSAS if decided?

Do I still have to update the AADSAS academic section if I have already decided on a school? I was thinking it'll be a waste of money if i send it to AADSAS when the school already wants your transcript. I was just thinking of sending the official transcript directly to the school. Thanks a lot.
