Do medical schools give preference to undergrads of that university?

Are some schools known to do this more than others?

Any info on Penn State? Can't seem to find anything on their website...

they're not going to say they do on their website. Look at the class profiles - its always obvious.

It doesn't say...

EDIT: Found one for 2014. ~13% from undergrad, including early-assurance program...

I know my undergrad makes up 15% of the med school which is huge when the class size is like 180. My UG is a smaller state school, and the mega schools (osu, uofm) flood students in and easily overpopulate.

I would have thought they would give preference, but I'm a Penn State alumnus and haven't been granted an interview at Hershey (n=1). It happens.
