Do most private schools require one year of Biology WITH LAB COMPONENT ?

Hello guys! I am a Canadian student and looking forward to apply for American schools. Althought I have many biology courses under my belt, I am lacking a semester of biology lab. So, I am just wondering is it true that you MUST need one yr of biology WITH LAB ? Thanks!

ALL US dental schools require one year of intro to bio WITH LAB for 8 cr total, along with other pre-requisites.

I think they say you need a bio lab but it's not necessarily a "standfast" requirement for at least some schools. I personally never took a bio lab class.
