Do Natural Sciences courses count towards science GPA?

My school has a designation for courses paired with STEM classes, but are the lecture/1 hour portion separate from the lab. For example, my bio lab is BIO204, but also comes with NSC101 (Natural Sciences). They're both for the exact same course, and receive the same grade. Would this count towards my science GPA? It's just confusing since NSC courses aren't always paired with BCMP classes. I know 1 hour classes won't make much of a difference, but they add up.
