If you take the Step 2 CK before application deadlines but your scores don't come in before that date will programs check later if your scores come in like a week or so after?

What's the best way to go about this? Do you contact all programs and let them know once scores come in?

Do they get mad if they have to check later, even if it's before they interview you?

Thanks

From what I understand, the last time that most programs check your application on ERAS is early November for the Dean's Letter. I could be wrong though.

Most application deadlines for all supporting documents are not until January anyway (except the more competitive programs). From what I understand, programs will be able to access your scores if they choose to use them in the deliberation process on where to rank you even after the deadline for application. They set those deadlines themselves, not ERAS. Programs are able to download anything whenever (that's how the scramble works) until ERAS closes and resets for the next year (well after the match is over).

So to stop rambling, yes they will have access to your score. No, not every program will decide to download those scores and use them.
