I'm asking this because several of the programs I applied to already sent out invites. Should I just assume I won't be invited to those programs, or is it possible to still be invited?

Most of them do send out invites in waves. There should be some movement after MSPEs are available.

you should go to the medical student forums on auntminnie.com. it is a far far better resource than sdn as far as residency applications are concerned. all of your questions have already been addressed there.
