no, they usually do multiple rounds of invites. Believe it or not, some people will turn down interviews (maybe it's on the same day as another school they are really interested in), or they will cancel later on (they get accepted at a non-match school). This opens up spots for less desirable applicants...but they say that once you make the interview, everyone is equal...who knows how true that is...
I know that our school does a few "waves" of invites....
