Hello, I'm not a citizen of the US (so no in-state bias heavy schools).

sGPA 3.25, cGPA 3.4 from a pretty rigorous school (elite liberal arts school, not top 20 though)
MCAT 511 (128, 129, 125, 129) and 516 (129, 127, 130, 130)
Non-trad, with a strong public health background. Health systems research with a US government organization, focus on capacity building of primary care systems for a specific underserved population.
A lot of my undergrad work has focused on LGBT issues, lots of leadership experiences, funded grants to do self-directed research on gender violence, 1000+ hours of research (no pubs), started a space for queer youth in my home country, 600+ hours of clinical volunteering, some more things in this vein just trying not to be super obvious. No DO letter yet, although I am really trying to get one. P solid rec letters otherwise.

Would really appreciate any help on finalizing a school list. I believe that I have shown a strong committment to underserved communities and increasing access to healthcare, which resonate well with the DO philosophy. But I am unsure about my stats, so if anyone has any thoughts that would be very swell. As of now the schools I have are PCOM, UNECOM, and Touro CA. Planning to submit by the third week of August.

Thank you so much. With these stats (barriers being citizenship and the very low sGPA) how many DO schools do you suggest I apply to in order to have a good shot of getting lucky? Of course, I understand that nothing is set in stone, and I could apply to all and get 0 feedback, but in general if there's a range for people in my situation that you recommend, I would greatly appreciate it!

Some DO schools do not accept applications from international applicants or non citizens. The ones I listed do but you may be able to fine others by contacting each school. There are also 2 new schools opening up- CHSU-COM and Sam Houston State.
