Yep! Friend of mine did a masters at PCOM in Philly and ended up going to Thomas Jefferson University for med school.

Assuming that undergrad GPA is lacking. I would assume one would need a very high MCAT to be associated with a good DO SMP GPA in order to be considered at an MD program.

Damn, I only have a 507. Oh well, I was asking more so because I wanted to know for a state school I'd be applying to in the upcoming year.

Students from my own MS program have gotten into our state MD school, and schools on the East Coast. No, I can't name names.

EDIT: Grey already beat me to it, but one will need a great MCAT score as well as aceing the SMP in order to get into an MD school.
