I know a lot of DO schools are in rural areas, any DOs with great locations?

Touro NY is in Manhattan
PCOM is in Philadelphia
MUCOM is in Indianapolis
NOVA is just outside of Miami
UIWSOM is in San Antonio
CCOM is in Chicago

Pretty sure there are more but that's just what I can think of off the top of my head

AT Still-SOMA - the city of Mesa (population > 450k) is part of a collection of cities that form Greater Phoenix.

KCU is in Kansas City, MO which is a pretty interesting city.

Does big city within a big metropolitan area count?

Western - Pomona, CA (just outside of Los Angeles)
RVUCOM - Parker, CO (suburb of Denver)
AZCOM - Glendale, AZ (suburb of Phoenix)
OUHCOM - Dublin, OH (suburb of Columbus)
OUHCOM - Cleveland, OH (in Warrensville Heights suburb of Cleveland)
TCOM - Fort Worth, Texas (in the sprawl that is Dallas-Fort Worth)
MSUCOM-DMC - Detroit, MI (actually Detroit)

MSUCOM has 3 locations - one in East Lansing (in a big campus), adjacent to the state capital. Another in Macomb, a busy Metro Detroit suburb. And the last one in Midtown Detroit. I think most of the hospitals in our SCS are in Southeast Michigan/Metro Detroit.

Touro Nevada is in Henderson, which is 5-10 minutes away from Vegas

PCOM-GA is in Metro-Atlanta and is 30ish minutes to the city center.

NOVA is in Ft Lauderdale, about an hour from Miami. Also can hold its own when you’re talking about urban/big cities.

Huge campus.

Technically, Nova is in Davie which is pretty suburban. But, you are close to Fort Lauderdale/Miami.
