I searched the forums and couldn't find much clear information on the topic. I scored a 26Q last year, but went down to 23O this year. Do most DO schools consider your best score, your most recent score, or like MD schools factor in all scores?

Took the MCAT 4 times. 21, 21, 21, 25. Accepted in November.
It's my fault. I've never studied for that test. Lol.
good job with studying that last time 🙂Took the MCAT 4 times. 21, 21, 21, 25. Accepted in November.

Just be honest and tell them you didn't feel like studying for this test because it's really not that important to you and that they can draw their own conclusions about how you'll do in med school. Oh wait, you'd have to be granted an interview first.
An MCAT that goes from mid-twenties to low-twenties is not a good trend. Unless their are some serious extenuating circumstances, take the MCAT again and get a 32+. This will require you to put down the Miller High Life, take the bag of Doritos off the lap and miss some TV for a while. Lock up the Xbox while you're at it.

You can probably get in as is. Not to goro's school though (which I speculate is Touro Ca)
The first step is to change your avatar 😛
But seriously I picture a fat neckbeard every time I see your username, and I know that's not what you really look like, but it is what I end up associating you with.

Actually after looking at his account, Im pretty sure its William Carey COM in Mississippi.
That is how I look.
Pretty sure it's KCUMB based on the fact that Goro said his school's cutoff and it was the same as KCUMB. Plus I think I remember him saying his school is in the midwest.
Dude Im like 95% sure its WCU COM
In a post he said he was faculty at a new DO school in the southeast. And WCU COM was the only new school in the southeast. Then, he said he use to be faculty at harvard medical school. So I look at the faculty profile for WCU COM, and there is a guy on staff there who use to teach at harvard medical lol.
He said somewhere that his school's average mcat this year was 29.5, and that his school does panel interviews. It has to be (or have been at one point), Touro CA.
For a DO school?.....No.
I did an smp and took classes with the M1's. My grades were above the class average every time and I graduated top of my program. I'm not worried about it. My breakdown was (10,5,10). I just never wanted to study physics. :-/

All things considered, that is not unreasonable BECAUSE interview season is still far from over. There are many people within that average that will withdraw and go MD or go to another DO school. Then the school starts pulling off the waitlist and lowering the average.
Idk, I think interview season is just about over.

You got into WCU right? Are you from the area? Do you know if they accept a decent amount of OOS?
Yes, I was accepted to WCUCOM. It's a new school and there have been terrible things said, but I was impressed during my interview. I am from the area and I went to USM for undergrad.
During our interview, they showed us a presentation that had the distribution of accepted student by state. The majority came from the southeast states but they had several from other states. Their preference is gulf states.
I went to USM for undergrad too.
